1. Introduction

a. By participating in the competition, you (the ‘Entrant’, ‘You’, ‘Your(s)’) are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions (‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘our(s)’). Our registered name is Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd, company number 11632186. Our registered address is 17 Brunel Close, Daventry, Northants, NN11 8RB.

b. These terms and conditions will apply to all the competitions (‘competition’, ‘competitions’, ‘prize draw’) listed on this website.

c. By submitting an entry to one of our competitions, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility to Enter

a. The competition is open to entrants who are at least 18 years of age or older. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions employees, immediate family members and associates are excluded from the draw.

b. The competition is open to entrants who are resident in the UK only.

c. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you. 

d. The maximum number of entries per person (not per account) is twenty, to ensure fair access to all and considerate play.

e. You cannot enter on behalf of another person and you cannot enter jointly with another person. 

f. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to disqualify any entry/you if found to be in breach of these terms and conditions.

3. How to Enter

a. All competitions are a prize draw and require the entrant to correctly answer a multiple choice question, set by Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions (factual with one correct answer at the time of our research). You will need to exercise your skill and judgement to answer the question. 

b. All competitions will clearly state the opening date and closing time and date for submission of entries.

c. A fee is payable to enter with each online entry, for all competitions. Each qualifying online entry will receive an email with the competition entry ticket number.

d. Alternatively, you may enter for free (other than the cost of postage) using the Postal Entry method:

     d.i.  You can choose to send an unenclosed postcard, or seal one postcard in an envelope, and send it to 17 Brunel Close, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 8RB.

     d.ii. Your postcard must be legible and not photocopied.

     d.iii. You must send by first class, second class, Signed For or Special Delivery. Hand delivered entries will not be accepted.

     d.iv. Include the following details on your postcard - your full name, your postal address, your contact telephone number and email, the competition title, your answer to the competition question.

     d.v. One postcard equals one entry into the competition. You may send more than one postal entry. Only one postcard per sealed envelope will be accepted. Bulk entries in one sealed envelope will not be accepted.

     d.vi. Your postal entry must be received in our office 24 hours before the competition closes.

     d.vii. Each qualifying postal entry will receive an email with the competition entry ticket number.

     d.viii. By entering a postal entry into the competition you are agreeing to abide by our terms and conditions.

4. The Prize

a. The winning prize will be clearly displayed on the competition page of this site.

b. The use of specific brands as prizes by Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions, does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

c. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Should a cash alternative be available, this will be clearly stated.

d. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

e. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

f. If the prize is a car the following will apply:

     f.i. The make, model and year of the vehicle will be clearly stated on the website.

     f.ii. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions will ensure a valid MOT is supplied, where required.

     f.iii. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions will not provide any road tax for the vehicle. It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure adequate road tax is in place before using the vehicle on public roads or to declare the vehicle SORN.

     f.iv. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions will not provide any insurance for the vehicle. It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure adequate insurance is in place before using the vehicle on public roads.

    f.v. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions will not provide any warranty or guarantee for the vehicle. We pride ourselves on our vehicle preparation, but vehicles are not new. Any safety equipment and/or clothing will be the responsibility of the winner.

    f.vi. Once the vehicle is handed over to the winner, Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions is no longer responsible for complying with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the vehicle. These will be the responsibility of the winner, along with operating the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.

5. Winner Announcement

a. The winner will be chosen at random from the entry list, via Google Random Number Generator, and notified via the contact number/email address provided on the date of the draw as listed on the competition page.

b. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions will make three attempts to contact the winner via contact number and email within five working days of the draw.

c. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure the contact details given are correct and will be correct at the time of the draw and for the following five working days. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions are unable to amend an entry once it has been submitted. 

d. If the winner does not respond to the telephone calls or emails informing them of their win within 14 days of the third email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

6. Delivery of the Prize

a. The winner can choose whether to have the prize delivered (within UK Mainland only) or they can arrange collection from our address in Northamptonshire. Costs involved to deliver within the UK but outside UK Mainland, will be the winner’s responsibility.

b. The winner must provide photo identification to claim the prize, with the details matching those on the entry to the competition. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

c. The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered; otherwise, alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.

d. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions does not accept any responsibility, and will not be liable for any compensation, if you are unable to or do not take up the prize.

7. Data Protection and Publicity

a. You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions for the purposes of administering the competition and for other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.

b. All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing info@justwincompetitions.co.uk.

c. If requested by Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions, the winner agrees to release their first name, surname and competition entry ticket number to other competition participants.

d. The winner's surname, county of residence and competition entry ticket number will be announced on Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions website and social media channels, in order to comply with The UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code). If you do not wish your details to be published, you must inform us at info@justwincompetitions.co.uk. In any event, we may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority in order to comply with legal requirements to prove the prize draw has been properly administered and the prize awarded.

8. Limitation of Liability

a. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

9. General

a. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to hold, void, suspend, cancel, extend or amend a competition or amend these terms and conditions. 

b. Before each competition Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions, will decide the minimum number of paid entries required in order to guarantee proceeding. We reserve the right to extend or terminate the competition. Should it be necessary to change the closing time and date of a competition, this will be clearly displayed on the website. Should it be necessary to cancel a competition, all entrants will be informed and paid entries refunded in full. 

c. Tester Racing and Engineering Ltd T/A Just Win Competitions and its prize draws are in no way affiliated, administered by, sponsored or associated with any social media or any other company.
